Electrolux control board repair
When the board is genuinely the answer — and it is worth saying that it often is not. A great many appliances condemned as "a board problem" have a sensor lying to a board that is working perfectly. This maker helps here more than most: F12, F13 and the F3/F20/F26 family are published as board-level conditions by name, so when one of them is on the display the diagnosis has a document behind it rather than an assumption.

01
Rule out what the board is being told
Sensors, thermistors and switches are cheap and they fail far more often than boards do. A probe reading short makes a working board refuse to heat, and replacing the board changes nothing.
-
02
Look at the connectors
Thermal cycling loosens plugs and chafes ribbons, and the communication codes on this make are frequently a connector rather than a board. It costs nothing to look and it saves the most expensive part in the appliance.
-
03
Check the supply before condemning electronics
A dryer showing a supply code and a range with an intermittent board can be the same problem in the building rather than two problems in two appliances.
-
04
Price the board against the appliance, honestly
On a built-in unit this is often the conversation where a repair stops making sense, and we would rather have it before the part is ordered than after.

Counter-depth French door · 33-inch columns Electrolux refrigerator repair in Miami
Six cabinets in the whole current line, and every French door among them is counter-depth — three of them, at 21 and 23 cubic feet. There is no standard-depth box here, no side-by-side and no top-freezer; the deep end of this line is a pair of 33-inch columns, one refrigerator and one freezer, sold with trim kits so they read as cabinetry. That is a refrigerator somebody drew into a plan, and it changes the work: the cabinet is tight in its surround, the water line runs where the joiner left it, and getting the unit out is half the visit before anything is diagnosed.
- Six cabinets total — three counter-depth French doors and a 33-inch column pair
- Counter-depth means a tight surround: access is part of every job here
- TasteLock Plus crispers and the TempAdapt drawer are the parts people call about
-
33-inch all-freezer column Electrolux freezer repair in Miami
Two freezers in the line, and both of them are the same thing: a 33-inch, 19 cubic foot all-freezer column, built to stand beside the refrigerator column of the same size and be trimmed to match. There is no chest freezer here, no upright for a garage and no convertible box. A freezer on this badge is half of a wall of cabinetry, usually in a kitchen or a butler's pantry, and it is treated as joinery by everybody except the person who has to open it up. Practically, that means everything the refrigerator column needs — clearance, a clean air path, access — matters here twice over.
- Two models, and they are one design: a 19 cu. ft. 33-inch all-freezer column
- No chest freezer and no garage upright — this line does not build them
- Sold as a pair with the refrigerator column, behind matching trim

24-inch stainless tub · SmartBoost Electrolux dishwasher repair in Miami
Two machines in the entire current line, both 24 inches, both stainless tub, and both carrying SmartBoost — the feature that premixes water and detergent before it reaches the dishes. Two models is not a thin line so much as a single machine in two door treatments, which is unusually simple to work on: what we open is nearly always the same platform, and the spares behind it are the group's, which run deep. This make publishes three dishwasher codes and two of them are not failures at all — a delay counting down and a heat delay waiting for water. The third, i40, is a filter.
- Two models, one platform — a 24-inch stainless tub with SmartBoost
- Three published codes, and two of them are modes rather than failures
- i40 is the filter and the sump, and it is maintenance rather than parts

Front load only · 300 to 700 Series Electrolux washer repair in Miami
Six machines, and every one of them is a front loader — 300, 400, 500, 600 and 700 Series plus a 24-inch compact. This make builds no top-load washer at all, which is the clearest single difference between this badge and the mass-market half of the same group. Laundry is the deep end of this line rather than an afterthought: 22 machines across washers, dryers and towers against six refrigerators. The maker publishes eight washer codes with real procedures behind them, and — worth knowing before you are quoted — three of those eight are installation problems rather than failures.
- Six washers, all front-load, 300 through 700 Series plus a 24-inch compact
- No top loader is built on this badge at all
- Three of the eight published codes are installation problems, not failures

Eleven dryers · gas and electric Electrolux dryer repair in Miami
Eleven dryers — the largest single family in this maker's whole US line, bigger than every refrigerator, range and dishwasher it sells put together. Electric and gas at each of the 300, 400, 500, 600 and 700 Series, all at 8.0 cubic feet, plus a 24-inch compact at 4.0. Four more machines are laundry towers, where the washer and dryer are one unit. This badge also publishes a dryer error code guide, which its mass-market sister does not publish at all — seven rows, and three of them send you back to the installer rather than to a repair company.
- Eleven dryers plus four towers — the deepest family in the line
- A published seven-row code guide, which the sister badge does not have
- EF1 is airflow, and in a condominium that is the vent run rather than the machine

Single · double · oven and microwave Electrolux wall oven repair in Miami
Three wall ovens: a single, a double, and an oven-and-microwave combination, all 30 inches and all electric. The single and the double carry Air Sous Vide, which is the feature people specified these for and the one they notice when it stops. A wall oven is the most built-in appliance in any kitchen — it lives in a tall cabinet, it is carried in by two people, and the cabinet is usually finished around it — so the questions that matter here are about access and about whether a repair is worth it, and we answer both before the work rather than after.
- Three ovens — single, double, and an oven-and-microwave combination
- Air Sous Vide on the single and the double; it is a serviceable system
- The maker's oven guide covers F10, F30, the door-lock family and demo mode

Induction · dual-fuel · gas, 30 and 36 inch Electrolux range repair in Miami
Six ranges, at 30 and 36 inches, in three fuels: induction, dual-fuel and front-control gas. There is no electric coil range and no plain radiant range in this line at all — which is precisely the machine that fills the rental kitchens its sister badge sells into. A 36-inch range is a deliberate purchase and usually the center of the room, and that shows in how these calls come in: people describe what the range was doing when it stopped, not just that it stopped. Almost every published range code on this badge is a name plus a power cycle, so the honest page says that rather than inventing a checklist.
- Six ranges — induction, dual-fuel and gas, at 30 and 36 inches
- No electric coil and no plain radiant range is built on this badge
- Most published range codes are a name and a thirty-second power cycle
-
Induction and gas · plus a 36-inch rangetop Electrolux cooktop repair in Miami
Five units: three gas and two induction, at 30 and 36 inches. There is no electric radiant cooktop and no coil unit in this line — the glass top you may be standing over is induction, and it fails in ways a radiant top does not. One of the five is a 36-inch gas **rangetop**, which is a different appliance from a cooktop and must not be confused with one: it is a free-standing cooking surface with a raised back, designed to sit in a run with an oven elsewhere. Telling us which of the two you have saves a wasted visit, because almost nothing is shared between them.
- Five units — three gas and two induction, at 30 and 36 inches
- No electric radiant or coil cooktop exists on this badge
- One of the five is a rangetop, which is a different appliance

Built-in · drop-down and side-swing Electrolux microwave repair in Miami
Three microwaves, and the shape of the three is the point: two are built-in — one with a drop-down door, one side-swing — and the third is an over-the-range convection unit. There is no countertop microwave on this badge at all. This is one of the two appliance types this site has that its sister badge does not, and it is not a filler page: a built-in microwave is fitted into cabinetry, it is heavy, and replacing one means matching an opening that was cut for it. The economics of repairing it are completely different from those of a countertop box, and that is what this page is about.
- Three microwaves — two built-in and one over-the-range convection
- No countertop model is built on this badge
- A built-in is fitted to an opening, which changes the repair-or-replace answer

About Electrolux control board repair
Most board problems are not the board
It is worth saying before any money is spent. A sensor reading short, a connector green with corrosion, or one leg of a supply missing will all make a perfectly healthy board refuse to run, and in this humidity the connector is the better bet. This maker helps more than most here: F12, F13 and the F3/F20/F26 family are published as board-level conditions by name, so when one is on the display the diagnosis has a document behind it rather than an assumption. We prove it before anything is ordered.

Questions about Electrolux control board repair
How long does a board take to arrive?
Usually days rather than weeks — this is the Electrolux group and the spares network is deep. Where a board for an older built-in unit is genuinely gone, we say so before you commit to anything.
Is it worth it on an older appliance?
Often not, and that arithmetic belongs in front of you before the part is ordered rather than after it arrives. On a fitted machine we weigh it against what replacing actually involves, which is rarely just the appliance.
Where we do it
Across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach
Same terms everywhere we go: an on-site diagnostic first, the price agreed in writing, and the exact figure confirmed once we have seen the unit.
