### Misting is rarely the glass

It is almost always one of three things, and all three are cheaper than the answer people expect. A seal that has lost its pull, a rack loaded so full at the front that the door never quite closes, or a setpoint below anything the wine actually asks for. On these cabinets the hinge ages before the gasket does, because a glass door is heavy and it has been carried on the same two pivots since the bar run was fitted.

### Is a bit of condensation normal?

In this climate, yes — warm damp air meeting chilled glass will do it. Constant misting, or water running down the inside, is not.

### Can the shelving be fixed too?

Yes, and it is worth mentioning when you book something else. Binding is normally the runner rather than the shelf, and the walnut slats are individual parts rather than whole shelves.
