# Electrolux compact laundry service

### The 24-inch pair is its own machine

Not a shrunk version of the full-size ones. It is a separate design with its own parts, and nothing interchanges with the 300–700 Series machines that share its badge. It lives in condominium closets and in-law units across this region, almost always stacked, almost always with a vent run that was somebody's afterthought. Telling us on the phone that it is the compact pair is what stops a visit arriving with the wrong parts on the van.

Access to a stacked pair is the work here. We plan the visit around it rather than discovering it.

### Why does mine take so long to dry?

A 4.0 cubic foot dryer in a closet with a short improvised vent run is working hard. Check the run before assuming the machine — in these installations it is the usual answer.

### Does the pair have to be unstacked to work on it?

Sometimes, and that is most of the job when it is needed. We plan the visit around it rather than discovering it in a space built for neither of us.
