# What Electrolux repairs cost

## What it costs, and what moves the number.

Every job on this site has a starting figure and a page saying what pushes it up or down. On this badge the largest single variable is usually not the part — it is whether the appliance is fitted into the kitchen around it.

55 — jobs with a starting figure

from $95 — diagnostic, credited to the repair

3 — named factors on every page

Every one — is a from, never a final price

## All 55 of them

Each one paired with the job it prices, and each with its own three factors.

No cost pages published yet.

## A researched market band, and we say so

These are researched market ranges for Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach — what the same part and the same labor go for here. They are not an average of our own invoices, because publishing one would mean publishing somebody’s job as though it were yours.

Every figure has a row in this site’s own pricing notes with the reasoning beside it, and when real job figures replace the research the pages follow the notes rather than the other way round.

## Some of these are written high on purpose

Washer bearings are the highest laundry figure on this site, and that is deliberate: it is the repair we most often advise against, and a low figure would hide that. Cooktop glass is among the costliest single parts on any appliance here, and it is published at its real level so the comparison with replacing the unit can be made honestly.

The opposite is true too. Several jobs sit low because the common outcome is a visit that fits no part at all.

## Four things that shorten the visit

Have these to hand

- The model and serial off the rating plate. On this badge it also settles whether we are looking at the current line or at the built-in range that came before it.
- A photograph of whatever the panel is showing, taken before anybody cuts the power — this maker keeps evidence that a reset destroys.
- Whether the appliance is freestanding or fitted in. Almost everything this make sells is built into something, and that decides the length of the visit more than the part does.
- Whether it is a rental or an association-managed unit, so the written findings reach whoever is paying for them.

Worth checking first

- Whether the machine is locked rather than broken. A dash on a cooktop and LOC on a washer both look exactly like a dead panel.
- Whether a new oven is in demo mode. It accepts every setting, counts down a preheat, and never heats — and it costs somebody a call-out every year.
- The drawer under an induction cooktop. Packed to the top it blocks the cooling path and the zones cut out in August.
- For laundry, the vent run and the drain hose before the machine itself. Five of this maker's own codes point outside the appliance.

## By service instead

Every cost page is paired one to one with the job it prices.

## We would rather lose the job than sell the wrong repair

On a built-in appliance there is a point where a repair stops adding up, and it arrives sooner on some machines than people expect. We put that arithmetic in front of you before the part is ordered. A diagnostic that ends in “do not spend this money” is still worth what it saves.

## The questions this page is asked

Why will you not quote over the phone? — Because half the estimate is missing until somebody has seen how the appliance was installed. A column behind a trim kit and a freestanding machine with the same failure are two very different afternoons.

Is the diagnostic charged if I do not go ahead? — Yes, and it is the same figure either way. What changes is that it is credited against the repair when you do go ahead. You are paying for a measured answer, including when the answer is not to repair it.

Do you charge more for a built-in appliance? — The access is quoted as its own line rather than hidden inside a part, so you can see it. On this badge that is the honest way to price, because built-in is the ordinary case rather than the exception.

## Why every figure is a from, and what sets the floor on this badge

### Access before parts

Almost everything this maker sells is fitted into something — counter-depth cabinets scribed into openings, columns behind trim kits, wall ovens in tall units, built-in microwaves in cut openings. On equipment like that the first cost of a repair is getting to it, and that is why the diagnostic here is from $95 rather than the figure the volume badges of this same corporate group carry.

### And a parts network that holds the floor down

This is the Electrolux group. A drain pump, an inlet valve, a door gasket or a bake element is stocked rather than ordered, and a part that arrives the same day costs less in labor as well as in freight. That is why this site is not priced with the fleet’s luxury makes either.

### What a from means

The same job is not the same work on two machines. Every page here names three specific things that move its own figure, and the exact cost is measured at your appliance and agreed in writing before anything is opened. If a repair is not worth doing we say so, and you have paid for the answer rather than for a part.

## Want a number before you book?

Tell us the appliance, roughly its age, what it is doing, and whether it is freestanding or built in. That last answer moves the estimate more than the others put together.
