## Find your machine, and what it is known for.

Each page carries the codes this maker documents for that appliance, the symptoms that belong to it, and what the model actually is in the maker's own words.

47 — current models covered

11 — dryers — the largest family

6 — refrigeration cabinets in total

## All 47 of them

Grouped by appliance. Each page carries the codes and symptoms for that machine.

No model pages published yet.

## The model number is the whole conversation

It is inside the refrigerator on the upper left wall, on the frame of a dishwasher door, under the lid of a washer. On this badge it also tells us whether we are looking at the current line or the built-in range before it, and those have different parts behind them.

The refrigerator column and the freezer column differ by a single letter, and people describing a problem on the phone name the wrong one often enough that we always ask.

## Eleven dryers, six washers, four towers

Laundry is 22 of this maker’s machines and the kitchen is the small half of the range. The washers run 300 through 700 Series plus a 24-inch compact that is its own design and shares no parts with the full-size ones.

A laundry tower is one cabinet holding both machines behind a single control panel, which changes the access and rules out replacing half of it.

## Four things that shorten the visit

Have these to hand

- The model and serial off the rating plate. On this badge it also settles whether we are looking at the current line or at the built-in range that came before it.
- A photograph of whatever the panel is showing, taken before anybody cuts the power — this maker keeps evidence that a reset destroys.
- Whether the appliance is freestanding or fitted in. Almost everything this make sells is built into something, and that decides the length of the visit more than the part does.
- Whether it is a rental or an association-managed unit, so the written findings reach whoever is paying for them.

Worth checking first

- Whether the machine is locked rather than broken. A dash on a cooktop and LOC on a washer both look exactly like a dead panel.
- Whether a new oven is in demo mode. It accepts every setting, counts down a preheat, and never heats — and it costs somebody a call-out every year.
- The drawer under an induction cooktop. Packed to the top it blocks the cooling path and the zones cut out in August.
- For laundry, the vent run and the drain hose before the machine itself. Five of this maker's own codes point outside the appliance.

## By appliance instead

If you do not have the model number to hand.

## A model page is not a sales page

There are no prices, no specifications and no buying advice here. What each page carries is the codes the maker documents for that kind of appliance, the symptoms it is known for, and what the machine actually is — which is what somebody with a broken one needs.

## The questions this page is asked

Why do some model pages show no codes? — Because this maker publishes none for that appliance type. Freezers, wine cabinets, microwaves and the commercial line have no documented codes at all, and the page says so rather than showing an empty table.

My model number has an extra letter at the end. — That is usually the finish or a trim variant, and the machine underneath is the same. Give us the whole string anyway — occasionally that letter is the difference between two parts.

Do you cover the commercial Electrolux Professional range? — No. That is a separate business with its own service network. We cover this badge's domestic machines, including the many of them doing commercial duty in buildings across South Florida.

## Why these are real model numbers and what the list leaves out

### Read from the maker’s own catalog

Every model number here is one this maker is selling today, read from its own product catalog rather than assembled from nomenclature patterns. Where a page says a machine is a 23 cubic foot counter-depth French door, that is the maker’s own description of it.

### What the list does not include

Two range hoods and a laundry pedestal are in the maker’s catalog and not on this site: the owner’s service list grants this site no ventilation type, and a pedestal is an accessory rather than an appliance. Kitchen and laundry packages are bundles of machines that already have pages of their own.

### And the appliances that are not in the current catalog at all

A great deal of what we open on this badge is from the built-in range that preceded the current line, and those machines have no page here because the maker no longer lists them. That is not a statement about whether we work on them — we do, constantly.

## Model not listed?

Then it is almost certainly from the built-in range before the current line, and we still work on it. Send the number and we will tell you what parts are still reachable for it.
