## What this badge actually builds, and what it does not.

Six refrigeration cabinets and twenty-two laundry machines is an unusual shape for an appliance maker. Each page below is written from what is genuinely in the current range rather than from appliances in general.

12 — types covered

22 — laundry machines in the range

6 — refrigeration cabinets

## All 12 of them

Each page says what the maker currently builds in that category and what it does not.

No appliances published yet.

## Laundry-led, with a small built-in kitchen

22 laundry machines against 6 refrigeration cabinets, two dishwashers and six ranges. Every French door is counter-depth, the biggest cold cabinets are columns behind trim kits, and the wall ovens carry Air Sous Vide.

What this maker does not build matters just as much: no top-freezer, no side-by-side, no chest freezer, no top-load washer, no coil range and no electric cooktop. A page here that implied any of those would be describing somebody else’s appliance.

## Features people chose the appliance for

TasteLock Plus crispers, the TempAdapt drawer that runs from −6 °F to 45 °F, SmartBoost on the dishwashers and washers, Air Sous Vide in the wall ovens, walnut-slat shelving in the wine cooler.

Each of those is a serviceable system with its own parts, and each can fail while the appliance around it is perfect. That is worth knowing, because they are usually the reason the machine was specified in the first place.

## Four things that shorten the visit

Have these to hand

- The model and serial off the rating plate. On this badge it also settles whether we are looking at the current line or at the built-in range that came before it.
- A photograph of whatever the panel is showing, taken before anybody cuts the power — this maker keeps evidence that a reset destroys.
- Whether the appliance is freestanding or fitted in. Almost everything this make sells is built into something, and that decides the length of the visit more than the part does.
- Whether it is a rental or an association-managed unit, so the written findings reach whoever is paying for them.

Worth checking first

- Whether the machine is locked rather than broken. A dash on a cooktop and LOC on a washer both look exactly like a dead panel.
- Whether a new oven is in demo mode. It accepts every setting, counts down a preheat, and never heats — and it costs somebody a call-out every year.
- The drawer under an induction cooktop. Packed to the top it blocks the cooling path and the zones cut out in August.
- For laundry, the vent run and the drain hose before the machine itself. Five of this maker's own codes point outside the appliance.

## By symptom instead

If you would rather begin from what it is doing than from what it is.

## We are an independent repair company

Not the manufacturer, not a dealer, and not Electrolux Professional — which is a separate business with its own service network. We repair the appliances this badge builds, wherever they are installed, and we say which parts are the group’s and which are genuinely this line’s when it matters to the repair.

## The questions this page is asked

Do you repair the older ICON built-in appliances? — Yes. A large share of what we open on this badge is from the built-in range that preceded the current line, and it is often worth repairing precisely because the current catalog has no like-for-like replacement for it.

Why is there no chest freezer page? — Because this maker does not build one. The only freezer in the range is a 33-inch column that pairs with the refrigerator column. Almost everything written about freezer repair online describes a chest in a garage, and none of it applies here.

Can you get parts for these? — Usually, and quickly. This is the Electrolux group, and the spares network behind it is one of the deepest in the trade. Where a part for an older built-in unit is genuinely gone we tell you before the work rather than after.

## Why this list is shorter than the maker's catalog, and longer in two places

### The owner’s list, not the maker’s

This site covers 12 appliance types because that is what the owner’s own service list grants it. The maker sells two range hoods and a laundry pedestal that are not covered here, and that is a decision about scope rather than a gap.

### Two types that the sister badge does not have

Microwaves and the commercial line are on this site and not on the mass-market badge in the same group. Neither is a filler page: every microwave this maker builds is a built-in or over-the-range unit, which changes the repair-or-replace arithmetic completely, and a great many of this badge’s domestic washers and dryers are doing commercial duty in buildings across this region.

### And one where the list and the catalog disagree

The owner’s list grants this site an ice-maker type and the maker currently sells no standalone ice maker at all. Rather than quietly dropping the page or implying a product line that no longer exists, it covers what is actually installed: the module inside the French-door cabinets and the 15-inch under-counter unit from the earlier built-in range.

## Not sure which type yours is?

A rangetop is not a cooktop, a laundry tower is not a stacked pair, and the 24-inch compact laundry is its own design. Send a photograph of the rating plate and we will tell you which page you want.
